About

Welcome to the BatorBrained blog! This is an outlet for my deep (and not so deep) thoughts on being a bator, the culture of the bator brotherhood, and living a life for pleasure.

Ever since I learned to masturbate, I’ve been a bator, even if I didn’t know that was a thing until about a decade ago. I was always spending hours edging, making those good feelings last longer and longer. Now I have the added joy of connecting with other like-minded people and bonding over our mutual love of self-pleasure. As I’ve become more open about my bator lifestyle with my husband, I’ve been able to go even deeper. In many ways, that’s what this blog is for.

In my normie life, I am a recovering academic, so you’ll find that this blog isn’t afraid to think beyond the surface about sex, pleasure, masturbation, and culture. As a critical scholar, my analytical brain is always wanting me to deconstruct, but often bating is a way for me to turn off my brain. That means you’ll probably see reflection, critique, and eroticism side-by-side. I still work at a university in the Midwest so my name and face won’t be on here. You can just call me Dr. Bator.
